I'm looking into waterproofing my rig. I can't find this answer anywhere after searching. I understand that Lipo's and most batteries in general are fine underwater as the way they are made and packaged keep all cells separate from one another and water cannot get in. But what about the connectors? I have read about wrapping with electrical tape or liquid electrical tape, and while tape can be removed I don't want a black sticky mess every time I need to swap batteries or charge one. Any other ideas on how to waterproof a connector (deans)? Or is it even necessary? Secondly how would I waterproof my ESC switches and keep them accessible? |

| I spray my esc/rx/servo down with a couple coats of corrosion block then cover it in electrical insulating compound. as for the deans, witch I also use just a dab of the electrical insulating compound will be all you need if at all. Sent from my GT-I9100M |
