Default HELP- I really want to run my crawlers

I have a honcho and an xr10 and am camping. Run both off a DX3S but steering controls won't work at all on either truck. Eventually I wil buy a Futaba but can anyone give me some quick advice on what is going on. I have throttle control and the servos are running but nothing happens when I turn the wheel

Hmm, check the monitor screen and see if the wheel inputs are shown on screen. If so the problem is probably on the other end but hard to say why both trucks wouldnt work.

I have messed with steering trim and every other switch and cannot figure it out. Because it is doing it to both trucks makes me think it is the controller but also leaves me puzzled

Stupid idea....try plugging the steering into the throttle (ch2) and see if the trigger workers the steering.
If so, double check the steering EPA's (endpoint adjustments).

I highly doubt both RX's have an issue, as well as 2 servos.
It's either the TX (maybe) or a TX steering setting.

I know the feeling, I say to myself & my son, "Don't "F" with a setup just before a comp!!!!!"
While I usually bring a laptop & ESC programming cables, it is not always enough.

We will try to help you sort it out.

Yea, answer our questions so we can help you.

Does the monitor screen show the steering moving when you turn the wheel?

If you swap plugs in the RX does the throttle work the servo?

Sorry, we went to the mast general store for some candy. Those who have been to western nc know how all about it

I will test the things you all have recommended and get back on here shortly
