Default Q: NVS ~ voltage??

im down to wiring in my x2 foglights using 5mm LED's but when i put the voltameter to the connection ill be using (running from the NVS AUX) it comes up 18.2v

uhhh.... WTF?
thats not right is it?

Yep. That plug is for the 5 LED string in series.

Try one of the top row slots, I think those are 6V but I may be wrong and I'm too lazy to measure mine.

yup!
that was exactly it
6vdc on the top rail and 18vdc on the AUX for the x5 lightstring.
