Lightbulb Suggestions for a LED strip

Hey guys, basically I am preparing for the next "phase" of my scx10 build and I really like the idea of wheeling at night. I was thinking of just getting a rc4wd lighting system but I would enjoy making my own.

^^^ I see alot of light bars like these on prerunnners etc and I was wondering if there are strips like that but in a size i could use on my bumper.
If not I will just use standard LED's and buckets.

Any suggestions/thoughts welcome. Thanks guys

Edit: Creativity is important, if you guys know of anything different, any outside the box ideas and any info/pics regarding getting some powerful beams on the trail post it up!!!

For a lil DIY you can pick up cut to fit LED strips at Autozone and Advance Auto Parts as well. I have used them in my 1:1 for interior lighting.

I tried to get into the lightbar market before everyone else, but getting held up with the machinist kept that from happening. I have a bunch of these strips. They are 4" wide, extremely bright and are wired. They can handle 11.1V no problem. They are not waterproof, but some conformal coating fixes that.

Been thinking about selling them as is just so I don't cry every time I look at them

Thanks, that site gives me some more options. Though 20 inch light bar is a tad big for my rig

Ah mate that's a shame I hate when stuff like that happens.
They sound good man, I only just realised what your username was. I have checked out your site a few times.
Any pics you could upload of a strip lit up? And how much you asking?

I cannot promise anything as I have to be careful with the budget I have, plus my heads not in the right place atm to decide. But I will pm you if I am interested

I went ahead and made an add in the vendor section with these. No use letting them sit. Just needed some motivation I guess

Their is a cut line every 3rd led. You cut it on the line and solder on a power wire.
