Default Motor Cleaning

How often should you clean a brushed motor that does not see water or mud & what product should be used?

Default Re: Motor Cleaning

A lot depends on the motor, rig weight, input voltage, how you drive the rig, but I usually do ~1/2 hours between spraying out the motor. There are a few different RC products to clean motors, you could also use "electrical contact cleaner" from an auto parts place.

Just make sure you relube the motor bearings/bushings once it's dried out.
