| 7.2v 3000mah NIMH Discharge amps?
I've got a few Orion 7.2 3000mah NIMH's packs for my sons Slash basher that I've not used for about a year and I want to cycle them a few times before using. I use a Protek Prodigy 610 Dup charger which is capable of a 5amp discharge. I've got my discharge voltage to cut 5.7v but I'm not sure what is a safe amp setting. Anyone have experience with this? thx!

While you can go higher, I usually just use "1C" which would be 3 amps for a 3000mah pack (regardless of battery chemistry).
