|  sealing a scx 10 receiver box with RTV
we went out earlier today. my cousin put rtv on the screws and seems of the receiver box.. only a few hours before we went out.. think rtv takes a while to dry? right?? hope he didnt fry anything.. seems like a good idea if it sat overnight.. thanks again

RTV "skins" fairly quickly but really needs to sit overnight to "cure". It sorta depends on temp & humidity.  |

I hear that liquid electrical tape works better. I haven't tried it yet but will soon

give CorrosionX a try... best thing i have used so far.. works great. let all the electronics sit for 5 10 min in there.... no even a hour all back together and waterproof..
