Exclamation sr3100 spektrum unbinds?

I am having trouble with one of my spektrum receivers for my dx3r, it's been on my moa 2.2 for over 2 years, and i took the electronics out the other day to clean up my rig and wired it back the way it was, the weird thing is that i had to rebind the rx? then i went to turn it off and the next day when i turned the car on, it needed to be rebinded? everytime i turn it off it looses it's bind, after i rebind it, minus the bind plug mind you, everything works fine?? do i need to erase the model memory and reset that slot on the radio?

From your explanation its sounds like the radio that is the problem not the receiver.

Try Binding again, make sure fail safe is set and turn the radio off for 5 - 10 minutes while leaving the car powered up and see if the problem occurs again.

There was a bind problem with the early DX3R radios and there was a recall on the radios.

Nope, not the radio, mine is the newer model, also i just put a batt on my tamiya cayenne , which i haven`t used in over 3 months, and i didn`t need to do anything, it`s receiver instantly recognized the dx3r, as well as the other 6 cars with spektrum or losi receivers i own, just this one receiver is causing me a problem, i will try and erase this model and report back, unless anyone else can chime in, and thanks SupeRoo for the input

I had the same problem with a 3300T. Receiver woud bind and work fine until you cycled power and then it would lose the bind. Called Spektrum support. They walked me through a couple of troubleshooting steps. They then had me ship them the receiver and they shipped me a new one back in a couple of days.

So I tried binding the receiver to another memory, I trired ch8 and ch9 and got the same result, so I am going to have to send it back

Hey bro,

Im assuming your using a BEC? If so you need to check your signal wire on whatever you have powering the RX. Mine was doing the same damn thing and notice the signal wire on my BEC was split! This was the problem and Fix!
