good esc for a novak 17.5 crawler motor?
 

from what i read good torque motor.. what would be a good esc? i was thinking about a cc sv2 from a friends slash. only want 40 buck too.. thanks

if it's going in a crawler the sv2 is sensorless and will really doesn't work that well. you need a sensored esc so you don't get the cogging. the mamba max pro would be a lot better choice.

ok thanks a good jump in price.. didnt know there was a difference in them.. any other options.. ?

I've used the MMP with a Novak 18.5 motor. Good combo. The MMP also handles 3S much better than the Sidewinder.
If you want a less expensive option I'm having great results with a Brushless Hobbies 120 amp ESC in my Wraith.

Had a nokak 17.5ss pro on a tekin rs for awhile.. lotsa torque, wheelspeed and tiny footprint setup "thumbsup"
