Battery Question??

Im new to crawlers but not to RC. Im soooooooo loving my SCX10 so much! I have a chance to buy some lipo batts from a friend cheap, but they are for a Traxxas Mini E Revo. They re 7.4v 2s 2600 mah. Would they be ok in my Dingo?? I know the run time might not be really long, but otherwise would it be ok? Im powering it with a Traxxas XL5 and an Axial 27t right now, any advice is appreciated!!

Re: Battery Question??

I prefer 3s but if you want to run 2s those would be about right.

They should last a good 1/2 hour or so.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I was thinking theyd be ok, just wanted to make sure. And for now 2s will be fine. I want a Holmes Hobby set up in it next, then I ll go 3s! I can get 3 of these batteries for $25, and they were hardly used.

Re: Battery Question??

Many users on here have had good success running 3s on the stock ESC's with the use of an external BEC. I do recommend 3s as it is a noticeable increase in power.

Re: Battery Question??

+1 for the BEC. I am running without one on an AE-2 with 3s, and my servo is underpowered at times. Installing one soon...
