Question Crawler? Brushless Motor

Is there any difference between a "standard" brushless motor at a given rating (say 17.5T) and those labeled as "crawler" motors? Or, is it just marketing?

Thanks!

Some have larger rotors for torque. But its mostly unneeded imo, brushless already has some power.

Marketing. The Tekin Rok 412 and Holmes new motors being the exception. Novak has to have a resistor on the sensor board for their ESC's to go into crawler mode, the crawler sticker just means its there. The Ballistic motors have a larger rotor, but I believe non crawler Ballistic's do also. Not really a fan of the big rotor either, gets a little notchy down low and like was said, brushless is gonna break shit.

Mostly marketing at this point, I haven't yet seen a motor from other companies that is purpose built for crawlers and not just a slight change or sticker change.
