| "cool" ESC (56k beware)
well i installed the tekin titan and it seems to work fine but gets a bit hot at low speeds (wich is what we use the most of ) for my taste so i looked in my parts box and came up with a brushless 5v fan (most likely from radio shack) i attached the leads on the rx end of the switch so it turns on and off with the reciever with the fan running the esc now seems to run lower than room temp at speeds ( only tried it for about 15 mins just in the living room but sofar its a heck of alot better) p.s. please excuse the mess im still tiddying up the wireing hehe edit: for easier viewing |

First things first... Get a new camera! I can't see a single thing from those pics. Fan over the ESC is always a good idea ;) And, electric motors run more efficient at WOT, with less load. Down low in the RPMs pulls more amperage, so it'll always heat up more at low RPMs
