Default axial ae-1 esc

does anybody know if the original axial ae-1 esc will handle a 8 cell nimh battery pack?

ya it did. i got a bunch of batterys with a blitz n 1 was an 8 cell hump pack that im gona give to the kid for his dingo

Mine worked fine with 6 cell NiMh and 2S LiPo, but twitched and constantly shut down on 7 cells. After I put a CC BEC on, I ran eight and nine cell NiMh packs, and then wound up going to 3S LiPo. Comped mine like that just about all last year.

thats the ae-2 that you use the castle link for charlie not the ae-1 from the og ax10
