Default BEC to servo newb question.

Hey guys i tried this on rctech but no luck. Well im sort of new to the bec's, I have a hitec 7955tg that im trying to get 6v out of to get the full 300oz. In the past ive wired up my castle bec's directly to the servo. Power/ground to the servo, signal wire to the rx. Is there any way around this? or is it the only way to get a true 6v of power from it. im running a flysky setup, castle sv2 and a holmes hobbies tm 35t.

I used a servo Y (it said heavy duty on the package) and just pulled the power pin out of the plug where it goes into the rx. Plug BEC into one leg and servo into the other and make your usual connections from battery to BEC, I used a JST plug so I can completely unplug BEC if I need to.

Check the price on a heavy duty Y-harness, if it's more than $6, hit up either creationfab, or Holmes Hobbies for a bypass adapter.

But if you just happen to have one lying around, then give it a shot.

Wish I could claim it... Just remember to tape or heatshrink over the power pin so it doesn't find something to ground against.
