Currently I'm running a waterproofed BR-XL with a WP ("water protected" not waterproof I'm sure) rated Futaba servo. For my receivers I have always cracked them open and filled them with dielectric grease, works wonders.

Just last night I was at a buddies house that has a huge back yard with several creeks and hill climbs right next to them. I took a tumble on a hill and went swimming. I was fully submerged, pulled it out and kept running until it was too dark (my buddies light board for his Wraith is MIA).

I always blow everything off with compressed air before putting them away and that probably helps.

This was at the end of the night:

emaxx....... I have no issues with "wanting to know more"..... but.... why not just post in a stickied thread and ask again??

For the future, it makes searching a TON better.

You get a few hits instead of PAGES of hits.

PS, there are quite a few free "spell checkers" out there for various platforms...... please use one.

While I'm not trying to be a dick, it usually comes off as I'm being one.

I guess I'm also at fault for perpetuating the issue.

Sorry!

Translated.....

"Don't get me wrong, but, I'm not talking about a typical waterproofing job with liquid tape, I'm asking about a container, maybe a sealed project box others have used."

Yes, plenty of people have used a sealed box. You don't make it easy to figure that out though.

No, you're being too nice.

The very-freaking-top-stickied-thread in this forum has damn near 400 replies and 80K views. It takes a special kind of lazy to pass that up that much free information.

You kind of lost me on that one, but as far as containers go, I've used balloons before with great success. They conform to the shape of what you are trying to protect, and take up less space than a box or container.
