which BEC for Tekin FXR?

Hi, I bought a Tekin FXR and 35t handwound, and running it on 3s lipo its a bit dissapointing it overheats after about 15 minutes.

I was hoping to be able to waterproof the electronics but i doubt I will be able to because the esc just gets to hot to put in an enclosed case. I would like to try a BEC to see if it reduces temperatures a bit.

What would be a suitable BEC to use with the Tekin FXR and 35t handwound?

I use a Castle Creations 10A BEC. I know a few have had an issue, but I have not.

Sounds like your gearing is way off...

You should run a BEC but it isnt a bandaid to fix an ESC that is overheating because of gearing.
