Default Traxxas TQi Transmitter

Hey Guys
I just bought a Summit and I had to replace the ESC as the one supplied was faulty. I fitted the replacement and everything fired up OK. I have all functions. My problem is now the indicator lamp on the TX when first switched on glows green for a couple of seconds then one red flash and then continuously flashes green. I can't access the menu funtion on the TX at all. The truck seems to drive ok although (I think) that the throttle and the steering doesn't seem smooth. I'm new to the RC truck scene (I'm into helicopters) but I'm severely bitten with the bug. I hope that someone can shed some light on this issue.
Thanks in advance. I love this forum guys, there are some seriously great trucks on here.
Cheers
Bill

You can reset the radio to default, and bind it again. You might have a stuck button on your TX, putting it into programming mode or something goofy.

Or it could be your throttle trims.

Based on that the red is it binding, and the flashing green indicates "Throttle Trim Seek Mode" play with the trim knob.

Hey Guys
Thanks for your replies. All functions are working Ok although, as I said, the throttle and steering feel a little twitchy. This may be normal but I wouldn't think so. I have tried several times restting the radio to default and I have re binded twice all with same result. I tried the multi function knob many times and it does nothing. It is just annoying that I can't access the menu to do anything. Maybe I should fit a Spektrum receiver and bind it to my DX3
What are your thoughts??
Thanks again guys
Cheers

I still use my TQ with my scx10 and stampede. If I had issues, I would just buy some FS rx for $6 each and use the GT3B I have...
