| BEC Voltage
Quick question (also posted on the XR10 forum), Without bypassing the RX, what would be an appropriate voltage for the BEC (I have it set at 6 Volts for now). What If I by pass th RX? Running two FXrs, 7950TH, futaba R2104GF (Rx), two HH 18T crawlmaster on 3S (rated 45-90C) and that's a CC 10amp BEC. In other words, what are the benefits of increasing or decreasing the BEC voltage. and how to evaluate what voltage is safe for the electronic? Thanks! |

I run those servos at 8.4 volts without issue (on my Comp crawlers, 1 course at a time then it cools off), But that is me The benefit of upping the voltage to your servos are increased speed and power at the cost of some extra heat. Those servos are rated at 7.4 volts and as long as there is no binding they should work all day at that voltage. The RX should not have any issues at that voltage either. |

So I could bump the BEC at 7.4 feeding the Rx then based on this. I don't do comp (we don't have any around here) so my runs may tend to last longer. I'll stick to 7.4 Thanks! |

Just run a Bec and use any voltage you want IMO
