Default servo help?

I have a hi tec rcd hs-7954sh. I have had it a while now with no problems then all of a sudden it starts acting like the gears are stripped. Gears are two weeks plus out and I Decided to take it apart and check the gears .I found no stripped gears put it back together and still the same thing has any one else delt with this?

I had a couple of 7954's just "die" on me. I ended up switching to 7950's.

Both 7954's went back and HiTec replaced multiple electrical bits in them under warranty.

I think you can search for "7954" in the subject line and my screen name to find the thread.

I had a 7954 that acted like this once. After taking it apart finding no stripped gears, I found that the middle gear had seperated. It's actually two gears pressed together and they had come apart.

This was the problem just waiting on new gear set

Good to see you got it figured out. Keep the original gears also. You can fix them with a punch and a slight tap of a hammer. Not too much though, just enough to spread the inner gear tight.
