Hello.. ok, here goes..
I have half dozen fx-r an won't change.. with that said.

I did a fx-r smash for my Xr-10, it worked great an has been working great.. with little puffs of smoke here an there..
What I think is the problem.. when I was removing the posts for the smash, one of The little squares of metal that wrap each hole, came out. my + battery post hole, to be exact.. here is a pic for an idea of what im saying..

Ok, now.. without that little square, what's the.problem?
I'm getting juice, but in short bursts.. like its building up or storing juice in the cap, then using it an giving out.. so did it burn something out of the board its soldered to?

Setup is, dual fx-r, HH 45t, 3s, Airtronics mt-4, cc bec..
