Waterproofing your radio? Or not. Just curious how many people considering waterproof your radio? I am asking because the weather in pacific NW were so unpredictable so if you need to comp in soaking wet day how do you prevent water damage your radio? Mine is futaba 4PL. |
We usually just put our hands and radio in a plastic bag. |
Re: Waterproofing your radio? Or not. Kroger bag will be your bestfriend in the rain.. |
Re: Waterproofing your radio? Or not. A radio should be fairly water resistant (rain wise, i wouldn't submerge one)...the only worry some spots is where moving parts are, and thats not easy waterproofable. |
Re: Waterproofing your radio? Or not. I always thought this was a pretty clever idea. I meant to order one, and forgot about it until this thread. I bet you could Scotchguard it for a bit of water resistance, and it will keep your hands warm too. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/vendo...ansmitten.html edit* Just ordered mine! |
