Default 9300xt

In the midst of a local build off at the LHS and Im curious if 1) the 9300xt is powerful enough to capably pull a 5ish lb truck comfortably and 2) can you run it on a seperate 2S (Although I imagine theres no LVC).

\Thanx for any info

Completely lifting your truck might prove a bit much, but used as intended will be fine. I ran 250mah 2s packs on mine with no trouble and it barely pulled any mahs after repeated pulls, so the lvc isnt a great concern.

i ran the 9300xt wired for a bit and always seemed to work fine. like erin said if you use it how its meant to be used then shall be fine. i tested mine dead lift with a fully loaded ae sc104x4 sc truck and other items and held fine. as for the 2s id imagine it would be fine but i only ran through the rx @ 6v 1 batt for whole truck.

I wasnt looking to "completely lift" the truck as much as repetedly use the winch for what its intended to do. I didnt want to buy/install a winch that was gonna quickly blow the motor or strip the internal gears of it. As far as the 2S - The thought of running a secondary small 2S for the winch made sense as when Im done building my SCX she will be powered by a 3S and I would imagine 1 of them would fry up the winch

Honestly if you looking for hardcore winch work a servo winch will suit you best, otherwise under moderate use, our winch will be good.
