Exclamation Motor noise help! Dont want to burn up motor

I have an EIGER pro and a Rockstar 35T with a BEC on my SCX10 and running a 2S 5000mah Lipo and a Spektrum DX3C, i have had no issues with the ESC the programing kind of sucks i would rather be able to plug it into the computer like the castles, Novak discontinued the Novalink deal.

My problem is the motor just started to make a weird noise especially wide open, makes like a whining noise that's the best way i can describe it. but it seems to run OK and just gets warm. I know its not the ESC i know what that sounds like. I did not break it in, i just ran it fresh out of the box could that be why? I have only put about 2 hours on it so far. I also did not solder any caps on, its not glitching or anything so i did not see the need. Any info on how to fix this obnoxious noise would be much appreciated, and what would cause this?

sounds like... <== lol either a bearing or poor gear mesh. try removing the pinion and running the motor. see if the noise goes away. if you still hear it a little bit of bearing oil goes a long way.
