Stock AX 10 Scorpion motor

Ok, So im not new to the R/C world in anyway at all. But I am new to the whole rock crawler bit. I like the whole theme of things but the speeds of it are just SO slow, that im not use to at all, But I am adjusting to it and really getting into it alot. I dont really have a question I just have a statement and would like some feed back. I went from a 55T stock motor, and gearing to a Titan Monster 550 with the same stock gearing... The truck is Medium in upgrades, meaning lots of aluminum and rollcage, foam cutting, heavyduty driveshafts. But enough of that, whats yalls thoughts on the motor upgrade?

you went from a slow cheap can motor to a faster cheap can motor.
IMO not much of a upgrade.

HH or Eddie O's motors would be a better upgrade

The same POS that you can get for around 15 bucks new?

unless your in a bind and have one laying around, i wouldnt go out and purchase one or anything. and would definitely be looking at a better motor.

i agree with the other 2 guys, cheap can motors really arent an upgrade.
you traded torque for speed. Get a rebuildable motor.
