Servo? My cirrus servo is a good servo but my wraith still turns like it was stock. I upgraded it so it can turn more but my servo is limiting it. Is there a servo out there that has more turning |
Re: Servo? The cheapest way is to get a longer servo horn...but you'll sacrifice turning power. The best thing to do is get a radio with adjustable end points. That will give you full throw. |
I have a dx3e it has that but i think i do need some more torque. |
Re: Servo? What servo do you have now? How many oz's is it good for? |
It is a cirrus i think it is about 80oz of torque. I read that guys use 300oz torque servos. |
Re: Servo? 80 oz is crap for a crawler. 200 +/- oz would do you fine. 300+ if your going to do some really serious stuff, but not required. |
Do you know of any good servos that are 200oz |
Re: Servo? I do. The best thing you can do is figure out what you are willing to spend and do some research/window shopping. Anybody worth buying from will list specs. Check our vendors section for reputable places to shop. I've also had good luck with Value Hobby. They've got some strong yet economical servos. Use google if you need to convert kg/cm to oz/in. |
Thanks ill do some research. |
Re: Servo? iv had good luch with the solar servos from hobbypartz.com i run 4 of these, 2 are through a bec at 7.4v, 2 are wired (positive wire only)strait to the battery plug on the esc and run strait 2s voltage. there kinda nosiy and run hot but so far seem to be ok. theres no way they put out there rated power though |
