Default 4WS with DX3R

I want to build a buggy with 4WS but the radio I use is a DX3r. I am wondering if there is a way to be able to use 4WS and turn it on and off with this radio? Like only use it when I want not all the time. I am new to the setting up 4WS so bear with me if this is a dumb question. Thanks

The DX3R has a third channel that you can use as a 3 position switch. Not proportional control but will get you rear steer; full left, center, full right. Just be sure to set the EPA so you don't burn out the servo.

If you aren't quite happy with how you can control the 4WS with just your transmitter, maybe have a look at this circuit I recently built up. It lets you select a locked rear servo or normal or crab steer and have end points so you don't risk burning up your servo.
