Default micro lipo question

hey guys so i just got 4 hyperion CX G3 25C 240mah 2cell lipo and its the first "small" lipo ive ever gotten and i cant figure out wy it just has a charging wire and not a cell balance wire... and i have a few questions.
1. isnt a two or more cell lipo supposed to have a cell equalizer wire...?
2. can these lipos run dead or do i need some kind of voltage alarm?

any help would be appreciated

1-Some small 2S LiPO's I've had used an internal balance board, thus no external balance wire.
2-Hopefully your ESC has a LVC which works off pack voltage, not the balance wire. If your ESC does NOT have an internal LVC, then yes, you can over-discharge your pack which is a bad thing.

I ran my heli LiPos as receiver packs to see if I needed a BEC, and wound up not watching my time. When my truck shut off on me I was a bit worried, pack voltage measured 0.11 volts. Since I figured the battery was toast anyway, I cut the shrinkwrap off the top of the batteries and found they had balance boards under the wrap. Figured what the hey and tossed 'em on the charger, and they charged fine. Apparently the boards not only handling the balancing, but acting as a cutoff too.

Can't say yours will be like this, too. I really hate to say 'you won't know if it'll work until you try', because these are still LiPos, they'll still bite you if mis-handled. If you can work in a way to hook up an alarm, or set an LVC, that might be a good way to go. Otherwise, gonna hafta set a conservative timer (5-8 mins.) and check your voltage to see if you can push it a little longer.
