Default mamba micro pro wont calibrate

iv tried everything to make this thing work. epa's set to 100% trim set to 0.
when i try to calibrate it all i get is the start up tone and then yellow and green flashing.
i dont think its a radio issue, my ae2 will go right into calibration no problem.

i want to run the micro in my scx10. right now i have full throttle reverse and half, maybe a little more forward, everything is set right with castle link and im running firmware version 1.38 beta.
bad firmware maybe?

Is your battery charged?
Based on this..... Castle Creations | FAQ: 1/10th Scale Products (bottom of page) sounds like you've hit LVC, unless the flashing yellow & green is during calibration.

May also want to try an earlier firmware, I've read some issues with newer firmwares.

its charged, even tried a couple different ones just to make sure. tried reversing the channel, and tried with 2 different radio systems.
i do have the red lead pulled and have a CCbec powering the rx. that matter?
