Default Need more steering power!!!

I have a NN chassis, with a Moped speed control and (2)hi-tec 645mg servos.Heres my problem,it doesnt seem to have enough steering power!!!If i switch to a 4 AA cell separate battery pack to power the electronics will it make enough difference??Or do I need to step up to some bling servos??Thanks!!

Better servos would yield the greatest improvement. I know the Moped has a pretty good BEC output already. I'm not thinking a reciever pack would make a noticable change in the servo torque output.

i bought a couple of 645 for my NN and they are way underpowered, definetly need better servos, i replaced them with some tower pro rated at 133 oz and definetly solved my problem.

The Moped has a 5v 3amp BEC. So that means, with your 2 645 servos you are getting about 110oz/in(+/-) of torque, each. if you were to add a 4cell battery pack (alkalines, 6volts) then you'd get some better power of 133oz/in of torque. Or, if you don't want to keep changing batteries in the rx pack, you can get a 'Novak Nitro Servo Regulator' that will supply 6v at 3 amps to your servos.
645MG's are rated at 133.31oz/in at 6volts, and 106.93oz/in at 4.8volts.
