Is this servo fully water proof? Does it need a Bec with the Holmes hobby esc? Is it worth the 37 dollars I'm going to pay for it? Cheers Leigh |

Dunno, Yes, And probably not What kind of application is it going to be used in? Edit: looked it up says its it's waterproof and if it does fail hitec usually has decent customer service, but it only offers 133 oz of torque @6v and you would need a bec for that. I would think in most crawling applications you will need a higher torque servo. If you're on a budget try this its a great little servo and almost 100oz more torque for 2 bucks http://www.savoxusa.com/Savox_SC0251...avsc0251mg.htm Last edited by boosted4lyf; 11-21-2012 at 03:46 AM. |

Yes you will definetly need a bec and a castle link, or access to one so you can program it to 6v

I run a hitec 646wp on a honcho with 1.9 boggers(no wieght) and a cc bec @7.2v. It's been in the river more than I can say and the servo is definatly waterproof, and no it's not a torque monster but it does work very well in a modest trail truck.
