| motor stalling. not clod stall
its a 65t integy in my 6x6 i just built, (but had same problem with the ax10 that was used for the 6x6 build)with a sidewinder v1 esc. iv tried a different known good esc, 2 other known good motors, different tx/rx. all of which had the same issue in both trucks.my servo is powered strait off the 2s main pack. geared 14/87. mesh is right, and no drivetrain bind. unless something is binding under load. everything spins free on the bench. no excessive slop in the tranny or axles to cause parts to move around under load. batteries are 2s 4000mah 20C, and i tried a 1300 2s 40c. both packs are good and charged. i recalibrated the esc/radio and checked everything else in castle link. same settings i run on other castle esc's. the esc isn't going into protection, or getting warm. the motor will get hot fast if i stay on the throttle what am i missing |

If the other motors work on the original ESC and the 65T has issues on any ESC, then yes, since it's been serviced I would agree it's a stalled/shorted armature. I've had it where the rig sits there even with throttle, but give it a nudge it works fine until you stop it again. The only fix is a new armature or a new motor....unless you can wind your own arms. | |
