Default Does anyone run BEC other than Castle?

Does anyone run a BEC other than Castle? I see other brands and was wondering if anyone's used one on their rig.

I got a free Novak BEC through a replacement and I figured what the hell and put it in my scaler. It works just fine. It's preset at 6v and is not adjustable, but for my scale rig it does the job.

I use a cc bec in my scaler and a comonsense bec in my son's scaler. My son's is adjustable between 5 and 6 volt's with a jumper. It works great. But I needed the cc one so I could set at 7.4 volt's for my savox

The Novak one and cheap hk ubec both work well for standard uses. The former in my mtdt and latter in my son's rig.

The castle bec is preferred for the voltage adjustability requirements in certain situations.

Castle creation and heyok are the only ones I run. Both are great, affordable and easy to use.

I've used a Turnigy UBEC 3(5)A with no technical problems, but 6.0V was too low for my needs. Now I run the servo straight off the battery.

As I see it there's pretty much only one reason to choose a CC BEC: When you don't want 5.0 or 6.0 volts on the output.
When 6.0V is good enough there are plenty of high power BECs to pick from!

I have mostly Castle but also use a RC4WD one that I salvaged off a burnt out outcry ESC. Works fine for a scaler.

I have Heyok's No Brainer BEC and it works great. It's nice to be fully adjustable with the turn of a screw. It'll go from around 5v to 10v in seconds. It's also nice to have everything prewired and just plug it in so only the servo see's the voltage and not the receiver.

i mostly run castle bec's. tho i run a novak bec in one of the scalers. its not adjustable, but works just fine for what i need. tho, its novak, so i know its only a matter of time before it dies.
