Default anyone using 7990 hitec servo

I just bought a new 7950 servo but there out of stock and for 40 more bucks I can get the 7990. I know its more torque and I checked the measurements do you have any troubles getting it to mount on your crawlers and what kind of feedback can you give me for this servo? I am going to use it on my sportsman rig

I ran a 7950 on my sporty, then on my xr, got a 7980 on the xr now an the 7950 is goin back on the sporty or maybe the scaler.. anywho.. the 7980-7990 are the same thing, the 7990 is just faster, as far as I know. They aren't much bigger by any means an fit good, maybe a small 2-3mm shim out so it doesn't hit the xr motor, so on a shafty, the only thing you will notice is the extra awesome torque it provides! For the extra money's, its well worth it!!

I've ran the 7995tg on my scx with no mounting issues at all other than it being a tad power hungry.
