Default novak ballistic 13.5 ?

I just put a Novak 13.5 ballistic crawler motor in my wraith and it seems fast in reverse! Is this a timing issue? I think I remember reading somewhere that the wraith is a reverse rotation drivetrain. So if I retard the timing will that make it run correctly?

Yes, the drivetrain on the Wraith is reverse rotation. I do believe all you have to do is retard the timing down to 0 . I had to do the same thing on mine when I put a VP DIG in my SCX-10. Also don't run it with the timing like that for long, I remember on mine the motor heated up fairly quickly.

So 0 degrees would be with the three screws lined up even with the solder tabs and slightly retarded would be past that!

I just played around with mine. Not sure where 0* would be, you tried it?
Loosen the 3 srews some, then knock on one of the screws while ya have the allen key on it. Should turn easy then. For now mines at the 15* mark ,esc set at rev and rev at 75%. Forward is faster for me, ill just have to check temps over time.
