Hey guys just picked up one of these thinking it had a 3 postion switch for a winch, well it does not so has anybody come up with a solution

I have tested 4 firmwares from :
- Absima v1.0.0.0 device not detected
- Carson v1.0.1.0 device not detected
- FlySky v1.0.1.0 and v1.0.2.0 device not detected
- Modelcraft v1.0.0.0 device detected but old firmware version 1.01-DE2 18-05-2013

I follow the procedure from file "FS-IT4 updating instruction.doc" from Flysky.

I have replaced the two resources of types "RCDATA" inside file "Modelcraft GT4 v2 Firmware Update GT 207200.exe" by the ones from yours file "Update firmware FS-iT4-US.exe" identification 900 and 901.

The update process has worked perfectly , but I does some collateral damage in the software level.

With the factory mode of the FS-iT4, I have solved my problem.
I could calibrate throttle and steering.

Quick question for IT4 owners: did anybody successfully use the magnetic speed sensor (or any other) to correctly get the engine rpm for a gas vehicle? It strikes me as odd that the max rpm is 16000. It basically makes it useless for nitro and also for gas because there are 2 magnets on the flywheel so that effectively means it could only detect up to 8000rpm which again is very low... The 100C max temperature is another bad limit.....

Also, I understand there's a new IT4S model coming out soon, anybody got details? Heard rumours about a competition mode (which restrict communication to just 1-way for faster response) and increased limits on the sensors (60000rpm on the speed sensors and 250C on the temp sensor).

I saw a video on YouTube a guy was using a trim like a 3 toggle to work his winch, he used trim buttons that are shaped like arrows and I believe he used channel 3 for the winch..

I recently had to get a new winch controller and had a guy from hobby haven help me at it up. I don't know exactly what he did but we got it to run the winch off of two buttons I will look at the settings and see if I can figure it out I may just take a video of the settings and see if u can explain what he did. Hopefully I can get back to you soon.

Hey man do you still happen to have the firmware you could send a copy to me? mine came with 1.0.1 US and i had the 1.0.2 US update. i updated to the 1.0.2 US and I cant adjust the throttle servo and the brakes are always on and cant be turned of or adjusted, everything worked fine on the 1.0.1 US firmware. I've emailed 3 different people at FS and still no answer and its been 4 days..
