Can anybody hack a CT6B for my 1/8 scale Mad Torque?

I told you yesterday in your PM that the CT6B can't be hacked

What do you want to accomplish by hacking it?

I do this to a CT6B

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-N...720/Slide1.JPG

Or squezze it into a DX3E

So i'm sorry if my lack of experience with the CT6B has offended you...you can not hack a CT6B like you hack a GT3B or GT3C. The microprocessor on the CT6B is a no name brand that no one has been able to hack into to write a new firmware.

The closest "hack" You could do to a CT6B is replace one of the sticks with a 3 position switch, which is a modification you can do to any stick radio

Which would look something like this

So a whole new radio? Or how do you propose to change the "layout"?

And what do you mean by "easier and smoother controls for a super"...because this sounds like the reason why very few still run stick radios on their crawler.

I say CT6B to the shelf.... steal the Receiver and get a hacked GT3C "thumbsup"

My 3B run a super no problemo..... 4ws, winch and lights on my C3 scaler all day long no issues.

done!

If dual sticks is something wanted to play with, a 9x is probably more programmable. Otherwise a pistol is alot more portable.

a 9x is hackable ... ALOT more hackable than the gt3b/gt3c . They've got whole new motherboards and cases too(i think)...and its amazing.

Got a gayviator buddy thats all about the 9x... cool stuff, some of it is over my head being i'm a surface guy. Borrowed a slightly modded one for awhile and lets just say a pistol is easier to lug around while I'm loaded down on the trails.

Sorry for the thread from the dead, but can I add trim pots to the switch below to set EPA? If so, what size pots should I order? Any info, links, diagrams, etc would great! I searched and searched, but the more I read, the more I confuse myself :ror:
