I am still new too. I bought the Thunder AC6 charger at Hobby Partz. I works great for me. I alos picked up 2 gens ace and 1 sky lipo. The seem really good to me. Search some, there is a ton of info.

I use the Turnigy nano-tech batteries from Hobby King exclusively. Great batteries at a great price.

x2 on nano-tech battery but they are from China and postage to US could be a long time. Even i am in Australia (a lot closer than US), it still take a month to get here because I choose cheap shipping that need to rout the battery to Austria before coming back to Australia.

I also have some batt from Cheap Batt Pack (cheapbatterypacks.com), haven't used them a lot yet, but so far so good. They are in US, so you can check them out. They make whatever plug you can think off which is very good.

Hobby King has a lot of the nano techs in their US warehouse, you just have to make sure and select the option of what warehouseyou want to use before putting stuff in your cart. That is if you are in the US.

For 2s I use a thunder power pro 4200 40c the best batt. I've ever owned to date. Never any overheat issues in a year now, the case is not ballooned one bit, always balances well (knock on wood) and this one has at least 60-70 charges on it so far. It was pricey (in my head) @ $100 but maybe by now price has dropped some.
