Default battery C rating to low?

i took my 6x6 out yesterday for its first decent run. its 12+ lbs running dual 55t motors. once my packs get around half dead, the truck starts to loose power. fresh pack will revive it. nothing is getting hot, packs are just warm when i change em out.

its running axial axles, stock gear ratio in all 3, and a steel geared axial trans geared 14(both motors)/87. 2.2 wheels/tires. everything rolls free, no binding

my packs are
1 5000 2s 20C
5 4000 2s 20c

do i need to run higher C packs? or maybe higher turn motors?

Is it cold outside? Are your lopo's cold? If its cold outside or the lipo is cold it will Diminish runtime. The c rating shouldent affect the runtime but the battery's will get warm and start to puff if your pushing them. If they do puff throw them away immediately. A 20c 5000 with dual55'5 should be just fine though?

Since your packs are rather high mah, your "C" rating is fine.

As to the gearing vs. the rig, there are others that can better answer that.
