Default Need help choosing a motor for my trailfinder 2

I'm going to toss in a hh torquemaster pro 540 in the trailfinder I'm putting together right now. I'm on the road so I have no way of testing out some of my motors at home. I was thinking something around a 40t for a good comprimise of slow and good power in the low gear, with some decent speed in the higher gear.'d like to know some experience. I want a lot of power in the low end for crewing through gummy mud, but I also want some wheel speed for it.

I'm trying to get my hh order in right now so nhope someone replies soon

35t and 27t are the most popular for the trailfinder.

I should say that 35 and 27 are most popular through me. RC4WD tells me that 55t and 45t are most popular from them.

i have a tekin 35t on 2s in mine and it's been great in both gears. was thinking about throwing a 27t or just bumping up to a 3s for a little more wheel speed in high gear.

I'm happy with a 21T Traxxas 550 on 3S. Costs $20 so I don't get nervous about it in the slop. Plenty of tourque and wheelspeed.
