Default is the Castle sidewinder micro to small?

getting ideas together for a build i am working on. its more along the lines of a comp crawler but its jsut going to be a basher for me. 2.2 shafty rig.
wanting to run something like a Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster 540 possibly. and was looking at the Castle Sidewinder Micro. going to get a Castle BEC also but was wondering is the Sidewinder Micro too small for a rig such as this? if so what would you suggest for a ESC

I can tell you Castle tech support doesn't like the idea of their micros on 5 lb and heavier rigs. They'd rather see you with an SV2. But I know a lot of people do it. Just remember, one reason the Sidewinder micro is so small is it has no heat sink. For a basher, I see no advantage over the SV2.

A lot depends on the motor you will run as well as battery voltage. Since most shafties have a bit more room, I would suggest a Mamba Micro Pro, partly because it has a heatsink. This will help it out if you have a large battery (big mah) to do long trail runs.
If you're going with a Castle ESC, might as well get a Castle 10A BEC.
