| Wireless Wiinch or 3 Channel Radio
Ok here it goes, I have a wraith with a RC4WD 9300 wireless winch on it. I want to run 3s lipos on it but the power for the winch is coming off the battery right now. Its kind of a dog on 2s and i dont want to run and extra battery just for winch. So here is the question: Can i use some sort of voltage requlator between battery and winch control to knock it down to 6 to 7 volts. Would a bec work for this? Another thought is I just got a Airtronics MT4 radio that i use on another car. Could i bind it to the stock wraith reciver and switch the winch to the wired version and use the radios third channel to control it. Any other ideas or advice on this would be awesome. |

If you end up going with a three channel system, have a look at the winch controllers that I build. I'm sure there is one there to your liking. Some use power from the receiver, others can use power from your main or an aux battery. The link to my products is in my sig. |
