Default AE-2 and two motors.

So I've been searching around here for a question but it never really got answered, all I could find was, "Yes, the AE-2 should be able to run two motors." now I was talking to a electronics repair guy in class tonight, since he worked on golf carts, I know two separate things but close enough, and he said from the sounds of it the motor voltage regulator or what ever he called it again implying to the ESC should be able to split the voltage but drain the battery fast.

After cross comparing these two findings, I reckon I should make a post. Can the AE-2 run two 35 turn motors for sure? I was only going to make a Y harness from the ESC to the motors, on 7.4 volt 2S lipo batteries, the RC4WD 35 turn motors use 7.2 volts each.

Thanks guys.

Default Re: AE-2 and two motors.

the motor limit on that esc is 19T. same for the first gen sidewinder. i run 2 55t motors on 3s off my sidewinder.
i read a post on here that stated to take the number of turns the motors are and divide by 2. that would be 17.5T. i wouldn't try it
