Default were should i solder the wires to?

as the title says i need some help. i picked up 2 integy 55t lathe motors (i know alot of people say integy is crap, ive never had a problem with them) for a tamiya clodbuster, more info on the thread in the clodbuster section.

the problem is the motors dont have premounted wires and im not sure were the wires should go. they are brushed motors and i picked up a foot of red 12 gauge wire, and a foot of black 12 gaige wire.

pic of the back of one of the motors

If you can post a pic of 2 of the wires soldered to a motor that would really help!

one goes on side with your thumb, other one side of your finger. i dont know which is positive and negative, one motor will have to be wired reversed

Isn't there a tiny plus on one side of the plastic piece. I have an integy and it has that. And if it's wired wrong just reverse it on your controller. Just don't solder it on the same sides!

+1.

Specifically there should be little tabs near the edge of the motor (may be 2 tabs/side/polarity). Solder to the tabs. The tabs are ~3/16" wide & ~1/4" long.

You can see the tabs sticking out to the upper right here, they happen to have a small hole in them...

PS, Thanks to Holmes Hobbies for the image.

yea there is 2 tabs on each side of the motor that are near the outside. does it matter which tab i use, as long as one wire goes to the positive side, and the other to the negative?

Technically you can solder anywhere to the hood so no it won't matter which tab you use.
