Default servo problem

This is how I have it set up. Im running a savox 1283 servo, fxr esc, spectrum dx3e, cc bec, hh 35t puller, and 3s lipo. Problem is no steering, works fine when sitting still or moving really slow. When I get over about 1/8 of the throttle I have no steering as though I have no power, sometimes it steers in reverse and sticks. Any idea what is going on?? I have had this setup before with a different servo and have had no issue. Servo works fine without bec, except it was glitchy when it got in a bind.

thanks

I have Spektrum gear as well and I have to add an additional ground from the external BEC to the steering port on the Rx. Certain bypass adaptors available from various sources have this additional ground already included.

So if I just hook the grd wire back up to the bec, servo, and rx so it becomes a three way? Is that it? I thought about that and didnt want to burn anything up.

thanks

Here's a diagram of how it works for me. Easier to see a pic.

Thats weird, I only hook the red wire from the BEC to my servo and leave the signal and ground in the plug hooked to the receiver, also using Spektrum. I do it this way in over 5 rigs with no issues.

One more question.. Do you all think my servo will be ok out playing in the snow without water proofing?

Thanks

The rewire fixed it all up. The servo has some crazy power and no more glitchs. Thanks for all the help I also water proofed everything today so I can go play in the snow.

thanks
