Holmes Hobby br-xl won't go in reverse

I recieved a br-xl esc for Christmas and when i put it in my truck and turned it on, I found that the motor went foward but did not go in reverse. I tried calibrating it several times and still does the same thing. When I calibrate it I hold full throttle,and plug the battery in. The esc beeps then flashed red, but when I put the throttle in full reverse, the esc beeps with a red and green light. This seem to be different then what the direction say. Do you guys know what the problem might be?

The transmitter is a traxxas tq 2.4ghz and the motor is a holmes hobby torque master 35t handwound if this is info. needed.

Congrats on a great ESC.

Based on this..... Castle Creations | FAQ: 1/10th Scale Products , your specific issue does not appear.

I would recalibrate, but:
-Make sure throttle trims (and subtrims) are set to "0"
-Make sure throttle EPA's are both set to 100%

Let us know what happens (whether it works or not, please)

Maybe it's in forward only mode

I checke.d that. Its in the default setting

try reversing the esc channel on the radio, then reprogram esc to radio, hope that helps.

I tried that too. Still didn't work.

make sure your trims are at 0, and epa are set to 100, also look into abs programming on the esc, not sure if the bxrl has it or not, just worth mentioning
