I was just wondering if I could run a winch with a spektrum dx3c?

Yes it will work. The 3rd ch. on the 3c can be a 2 way 3 way or almost a momentary type switch. I was looking at getting one but now the 4s is out cost quite a bit more money but looks realy nice.
