| 12V Power supply
Ok, so i'm about to modify a PC PSU to run my charger but I was just looking at an extra power supply from my broken xbox 360 and the output is DC 12V at like 10 amps. It's connection to the xbox is through a 2 pin plug which I assume is + - so could I also use it to power a charger? Maybe a stupid question but I just thought i'd ask.

You could probably use it. I'm using a 16v supply from a satellite receiver dish and had a similar plug on it. I've also got a converted ATX psu that works like a charm.

Did some searching and found that it's a great simple PSU just for powering a charger. Gonna cut off the connector though and go with something else.

I use my 25A power supply for my amateur radio setup. I have Anderson Power Pole connectors on it, so I just fitted my charger with the PP's as well, so I can plug it in at the house or in my Jeep. Funny thing is the charger has a 120V transformer built in, but I haven't even used it yet.. Probably won't either.. |
