VXL motor heat problems in wraith

Okay so i have a vxl motor it has had heat problems i. The past when it was in my rustlet but now it is in my wraith as a new crawler motor well rock bouncer and im running a 16/90 gearing in 2wd and it got hot

check the gear mesh an or look for bindin in the drive train

Gearing or gear mesh. I had 17/52 racing in a strc slash 4x4 and only had small heat issues a fan and heat sync helped with itit

Well I think if I run the vxl I will just destroy it I think the vxl just runs hot

i got 87 20 in mine n its runs a lil warm cheak ur bearings n gear mesh

I run a vxl in mine and use 9/60 32p gears. I have the fan and mounted in the rear for airflow. I also took out the interior to help cool the motor. I run cut boggers without issues. Almost ZERO cogging and i can still touch the motor after some hard bashing. As long as you aren't comping it, I think it's a great basher setup.
