MMP sensor broken/not working

i bought an used MMP from a guy , all looks solid , but the sensor port on it does not work. in sensored mode it cogs badly

i did the recalibrations with TX, tried with two different ones.

i've checked it with two different motors which work in sensored mode just fine on a different esc

i've tried two different sensor wires which again work with a different esc.

i've tested the pins of the mmp sensor port with a multi meter so that works as well , even tried it with a sensor cable attached and checked the pins , also contact.

also the motors run if i set the mmp in sensorless mode itself.

so it must be the esc itself.

do i have any other options than sending it to castle for repairs ?

its used so the warranty is not transferable , even if it were in warranty.

only other option is to hope the guy gives me a refund or some money off the price so i can just use it with a brushed motor until i save up for a new mmp.
