I tried a 13.5 speedgem when I originally got my Wraith. Not nearly enough power for the size of it, it was slow and ran real hot. I switched up to a Novak Ballistic 550 4.5 and found it to be the perfect amount of torque and wheel speed.

Well i went ahead an bought the speed gem 15.5 brushless along with a lrp spin brushless esc, changed the wraith gearing to 16t pinion an a 58t spur ,32dp gears, then a 3cell lipo, simply awsome! with this sensored motor an adjustability of the esc, easily crawl on the rock pile then nail it blast down the trail jumping tree roots, both motor an speed control, for 100 bucs, couldnt pass it up.
